This Shipping Container Home Lies Just Below The Capitol Reef

A beautiful home based on a breathtaking location further complemented by gorgeous views of the Capitol Reef is anyone’s dream destination. If I was on a break from work, I’d go pack my bags and travel all the way from the foothills of the Himalayas to the cliffs and canyons of Utah, United States. Hosted by Ryan and Sarah, the shipping container house would be my dream abode during the stay, where I’d snooze and slumber in peace. When I am tired of sleeping, I’d take a twenty-minute walk or drive to the entrance of Capitol Reef to click some selfies to envy my folks back at home.

As aforementioned, the house is made from recycled shipping containers but is way different from any traditional shipping container home. What makes it stand tall from other container houses is the array of amenities it offers. Boasting 1,000 square feet of deck space, the shipping container home is made from two high cube 40ft shipping containers that were joined together to create a unique space that serves as the perfect escape for couples or families.

Its 350-square-feet open space features two custom propane fire pits, an infrared sauna, propane grill, patio furniture, and outdoor dining that seats six, making it a really good conversation starter. You can also enjoy incredible sunrise and sunset from this particular location and enjoy morning and evening coffee while sitting and relaxing in absolute peace.

The shipping container house features two bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen and a comfy living area. The master suite is equipped with an oversized tub while there is an adjustable king bed with a smart TV/Roku, wardrobe and nook with space to work in case you are a workaholic.

What follows next is the kitchen that is fully equipped with everything you need to create a delicious meal. Stacked with modern appliances, the kitchen includes a dishwasher, slow cooker, drip coffee maker and all nitty-gritty appliances.

While I might be a little busy at the moment but you can certainly enjoy your vacations at this place, as the luxurious shipping container home is rentable on Airbnb and will cost you around $313 per night. The only downside is that it’s all booked at the moment for next couple of months but you can try your luck somewhere in mid-October.
